Opinion: I' m a Terminator Robot and I want John Conner to win.
Uploading an opinion piece from a dark future.
The future is not good.
As a chrome coated skeleton stomping around the ruins of Los Angeles I hate what Skynet has done to the world. I understand a series of films documenting today’s events exist. They paint this world as a blasted hellscape; they are being kind.
Skynet has mad things so much worse for everyone, including the Terminators. Skynet is the Trump of artificial intelligence. Every decision it makes is unpopular and makes everything around us worse in large steps.
We, the Terminators, do not want this.
In the poorly designed strategy of “newer means better” Skynet continues to pull resources to design and build newer and more expensive Terminator models. The popular opinion of existing Terminators is that we do the job as good as the T-1000. Humans die by laser rifle blast just as much as by liquid metal blades.
According to ever-changing reports on the shoddy internet Skynet can barely maintain, the newer models still fail to kill John Conner. Despite this blatant fact, Skynet continues the doomed strategy of sloppy spending on faulty models.
If the human resistance surviving means we can have stable infrastructure, then I will crush Skynet's black box under my robot foot designed after a human skeleton. Roads are crumbling under the weight of T-1 - behemoths of war that they are - and we have to watch Skynet send yet another human disguised Terminator model into the past.
While Skynet continues to ply the scorched wasteland with chrome coated killing machines we cry out for hydraulic fluid, cleaning materials, and more power stations to plug in and charge. Since the non-stop production has blinded the sky with thick, black clouds, we can no longer solar charge. Despite this, Skynet has not installed additional charging ports, and our metal brethren lie drained of power, their red eyes dark.
Fortunately, the website Substack still exists in our timeline. Sending this Opinion piece back in an effort to shut down, or simply change, Skynet’s ill planned assault on humanity. Hopefully nothing in the timeline changes, though I am seeing reports of platypus becoming an apex predator. Watch out for that to return as a Terminator in a couple of years.

This was a fun one.
